Some states have apprentice and some states don't, But if you go to cosmetology School, You can't do both...Apprentice is just Cosmetology School in a Salon, anyway. You won't learn any more than what you will learn in Cosmetology School. If you want to know more about the industry, You go to classes for licensed hairstylists, and go to Hair shows.
