Maybe the boiling changes the properties of the lemon, but if you use normal lemon juice diluted with water, I can’t think of anything in that mixture that would hold your hair. The only thing that lemon juice would do for you hair is remove soap scum, basically working as a conditioner.
Of course, I don’t know about all of the properties of lemon juice. It COULD give a good hold. That’s just my two cents. :]

I made also cosmetic. I must say that is Lush is NOT NATURAL. Lush is HANDMADE cosmetic. Lush product is full with chemichal,
Look at the soap ingridiens and u will find Sodium Lauri Sulfat and other cancerogenic materials. DON’T BE FOOL !!!!!!
LUSH IS NOT NATURAL COSMETIC. Natural cosmetic hawe shorter expiriation day. Natural face mask from homemade u must use imidietly. THEERE IS NO WAY WITHOUT CHEMISTRY TO PROLONG EXPIRIATION DATE !!!
    Sorry for my English.
