Home prices are leveling off and going down right now, but they still are not cheap. Target the areas you are interested in and get in touch with a knowledgeable, reputable real estate agent to get an idea of prices for homes and rent for apartments and/or homes. Target some high-end salons in upscale areas like Newport Beach, Huntington Beach and Ladera Ranch/Coto de Caza and see what you need to do to get hired.
