well, Schapelle Corby was a beauty therapist, and she had to do resort to the odd drug run to bali just to pay the rent -> I’m amusing beauty therapy is not that lucrative (she does have reasonable skin tone though).
I am a Beautician in London and I would never go back to a salon, the pay is rubbish even if you are in a high profile salon (like I was).
I still have home clients but I have to work a regular job as well.
If you really want a career in beauty I would suggest doing the highest level qualification and maybe do non-abbrasive treatments in a plastic surgery.
